Letters: All lives matter — except pre-born

The State

Alyssa Miller writes that Planned Parenthood’s fight for the Cervical Cancer Prevention Act was “rooted in our deep commitment to improving the health and lives of all communities” (“Cervical cancer law will save lives,” May 16).

She writes that she is “proud” that South Carolinians “have opportunities to make the best decisions about their long-term health care” and that Planned Parenthood “will continue to support and fight for laws that improve the health and safety of all South Carolinians, no matter what.”

No matter what — unless that South Carolinian happens to be a pre-born child in his or her mother’s womb. Then Planned Parenthood seemingly fights for laws that mimic those of Nazi Germany, namely laws that allow for the extermination of those deemed unfit or unwanted.

Where is her commitment to improve the health and lives of the “community” of unborn children? What about the “long-term health care” of the unborn?

Planned Parenthood’s commitment is to relegate those children to the garbage disposal and the local landfill.
