Letters: Black parents group has the wrong focus
The Richland 2 Black Parent Association’s efforts are misguided. These parents should be focusing on the performance gap instead of worrying about the racial balance of school board members.
Their time could be better spent by volunteering to read to classes or help after school tutoring students struggling with math, social studies and English.
Let’s stop with polarization of our state; we are all in this together.
