Letters: Citadel is right to demand conformity
A hearty “amen” to David Lauderdale’s May 18 column, “No, it’s The Citadel that is being treated unfairly.”
The applicant knew that she would be expected to wear the uniform and abide by the rules and regulations if she were accepted as a cadet. How selfish of her to ask to be allowed to wear a hijab.
The Citadel should hold fast to its rules.
Conform or get out.
