Letters: Remember what farmers provide

Thanks to our elected representatives for overturning our governess’ veto of the farm assistance bill.

There really is a clear distinction between the products of business and agriculture. Otherwise, we’d boil up a mess of Boeing aircraft parts to take to the lake and beach this summer, enjoy the fresh flavor of spring Michelin tire shreds in salads and stir fries and put Bavarian Motor Works sausages (thankfully, we never really got to see how they were made) on the grill.

Industry and business is certainly important to our beloved native land, but you can’t eat it.
