Letters: Transgender bathroom rule is abuse of power

“Government is force.” George Washington’s wise words were never truer than today.

As witnessed by his abuse-of-power decree that all schools, colleges and universities that receive public funding must accommodate transgendered individuals, President Obama never lets an opportunity pass to take a wrecking ball to the foundations of society and further his nihilistic agenda.

It’s not enough for a small segment to be tolerated and have their constitutional rights protected. The citizenry must be propagandized, blackmailed and coerced to believe as the intolerant leftist does; it is bullying at the highest government levels.

This is an all-out assault by an out-of-control government that does not respect any limits, least of all the limits imposed by the Constitution and the will of the moral and law-abiding citizens of America.
