Letters: Death is wrong penalty for Emanuel slaughter

Dylann Roof
Dylann Roof AP

Upon recalling what I considered an ultimate act of forgiveness on the part of surviving relatives of the slaughter of nine people at Emanuel A.M.E. Church, I was disappointed in the feds seeking the death penalty for the perpetrator.

Their heroic act now stands out even more in the light of what appears to be an ultimate act of revenge: more killing.
