Letters: God uses imperfect messengers
Obviously Druie Cavender hasn’t read the entire holy Bible (“Christian support of Trump reeks of hypocrisy,” June 29). God oftentimes uses what we humans call the bad guy to fulfill his divine will.
The founding fathers intended Christian ethics to be part of America’s heritage. That’s why they held prayer meetings before making decisions for our country. It’s also why the Bible was selected, printed and distributed as the first primer to teach reading.
Christians do not all back Trump, or Clinton. Some of us pray for a third-party candidate — a Christian who’ll act as a Christian to be found and elected as America’s next president.
