As a docent at the State Museum for more than 15 years, I am saddened to see how few people are taking advantage of the opportunity to attend the Museum’s Blockbuster Race Exhibit. I have already spent five hours in the gallery and am still not finished learning.
It also makes me sad to see those who stroll through the exhibit without taking time to visit any of the many kiosks, which explore all aspects of race. This exhibit is for all regardless of your race or political ideology. It is full of love, not hate.
Instead of all these destructive protests and riots, I encourage everyone on these hot summer days to come and cool off at this exhibit.
