Letters: Armed citizenry isn’t the answer

A recent letter writer said that if the people in the Orlando nightclub had been armed, there wouldn’t have been as many killed.

What happened in Dallas, where the police and a lot of protesters were carrying guns? I read that the armed protesters joined the rest of the crowd and ran with them.
