Pick the greater good instead of lesser evil
Many people think we have just two bad options in the presidential election: a megalomaniacal neofascist or a champion of the neoliberalist policies that have been so detrimental to our country.
__________
Green Party’s Stein picks human rights activist as running mate
Some Sanders voters will vote Green rather than for Clinton
Libertarian Gary Johnson could spoil the Southwest for Trump
__________
The neofascist, Donald Trump, proposes few policies and promotes prejudice and divisiveness. His opponent, Hillary Clinton, has a well-recorded history of embracing policies that have been detrimental to African-Americans, the middle class and the impoverished. She vows to continue the Obama legacy, hoping that people do not realize that during his presidency our communities have become less safe, incomes remain stagnant, job creation is lackluster and homeownership is at half-century lows.
Luckily, there is another option. Jill Stein of the Green Party presents a solutions-based approach to the problems our country faces without the disruptive influence of corporate donors and the sleaze of Washington insiders.
Like Bernie Sanders, she leads a movement of everyday people working to better our communities, political system and country as a whole. In fact, her positions are quite similar to Bernie’s. Regarding the environment, bank regulation, health care, criminal justice reform, campaign finance regulation, trade agreements and more, the two are of similar minds.
Jill Stein is by far the best candidate for president. For years she has unwaveringly stood for her convictions — convictions based on humanity rather than an ideology influenced by contributions and political convenience.
It is time to vote your conscience, not your fear. Take the time to explore Dr. Stein and break free from the two-party system that has failed you. Vote for the greater good rather than the lesser of two evils.
