Letters: Only God can bring racial harmony

As a Christian, I cannot feel hatred or unforgiveness toward anyone and have the smile of God upon my life. I can hate the sins of others without hating the sinners. I do so primarily because of the destructiveness God says hatred causes individuals, communities and the entire world.

When is there real and lasting racial harmony? When the Prince of Peace is invited to live in our hearts. If two Christians are in fellowship with God, God in one will not hate or despise God in the other. Racial harmony cannot be legislated. Neither can the so-called science, psychology, make it happen.
