Letters: Trump giving Clinton a free pass

This election is not about Donald Trump vs. Hillary Clinton. It is about Trump vs. Trump and Trump vs. the media.

The media are absolutely in the tank for Hillary, or rather against Trump. This is obvious when much more time is spent reporting what Trump has said than what Clinton’s deeds and actions have been. Does Trump say outlandish and foolish things? He sure does. Have Clinton’s actions on e-mails, the Clinton foundation and lying to the public been documented? They sure have.

The bottom line is that Hillary Clinton will most likely win this election by absolute default because Donald Trump’s reckless mouth has given the media the opportunity they have sought to discredit his candidacy and make people afraid of him.

That is a tragedy if for no other reason than to give Hillary Clinton the opportunity to name judges, which I believe will hasten the end of our country as we know it.

Hillary is winning by simply doing nothing and allowing Trump to destroy his own candidacy by his words with help from the media, who will do anything to see that he never wins this election.
