Letters: Dorn VA staff provide great care
Veterans’ hospitals continue to get bad publicity even though patient care is improving. I experience short wait times whether I go to the emergency room or an appointment. The staff don’t seem to be in a hurry although they are very busy. Most of them realize that travel is difficult for me, so they try to address as many issues as possible in one visit.
Dorn VA Medical Center provides telephone advice services and secure email services, making access to staff easy; answers are prompt and helpful.
My wife usually accompanies me on my visits, and both of us are treated with respect and feel like valued members of my medical team.
I have used almost all of the services offered, and usually each person thanks me for my service. My wife and I would like to thank all the employees and volunteers for their service to our country and to our country’s military personnel.
