Letters: A lesson in Republican geology

Evangelicals such as Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence say that anthropogenic climate change and evolution are both hoaxes because neither one is in a Bible they accept as the literal word of God.

Mike Pence should go a step further and proclaim that the earth has ends (Psalm 67:7) and corners (Isaiah 11:12) and is flat, since Matthew 4:8 states that Satan took Jesus up onto a high mountain and showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world, something possible only if the earth is flat.

And that concludes today’s lesson from The Creationist Geology Book.
