Former Midlands standout catches TD in first NFL playoff game

Dontrelle Inman’s first career playoff game was a good one.

The former Batesburg-Leesville standout and current Indianapolis Colts receiver caught an 18-yard pass from Andrew Luck in the second quarter as the Colts went on to defeat the Houston Texans, 21-7, on Saturday in AFC Wild Card game.

Indianapolis will travel to Kansas City next week.

Inman finished with four catches for 53 yards. He was questionable to play after suffering a shoulder injury in practice.

Inman is in first season with the Colts after being signed by the team Oct. 16. He also spent time in his career with the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears in his career.

Inman had 28 catches for 304 yards and three touchdowns in nine games this season for Colts.
