Clemson already has a pair of offensive linemen signed for the class of 2018 in five-star Jackson Carman of Ohio and Dorman’s Jordan McFadden, but the Tigers still could add another offensive tackle.
One tackle the Tigers are pursuing is Florida commit Richard Gouraige.
The Tampa native is rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 87 overall player in the country and the No. 7 offensive tackle in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Gouraige is currently on a visit to Clemson, posting on Twitter Friday afternoon that he has landed in the upstate.
Gouraige committed to Florida in October but that was before the Gators had a coaching change. He is slated to visit Auburn next weekend.
Gouraige holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, LSU and others, in addition to Florida, Clemson and Auburn.
Clemson has had plenty of success landing players from the Tampa area in the past, including receivers Ray-Ray McCloud and Deon Cain.
