Clemson basketball falls in polls after 1-1 week

Clemson dropped in the AP poll and coaches poll after losing to N.C. State and defeating Miami last week, but the Tigers are still ranked in the top 20 entering Tuesday night’s showdown at North Carolina.

Clemson dropped one spot to No. 20 in the AP poll and one spot to No. 18 in the coaches poll.

North Carolina moved up to No. 15 in the AP poll and No. 14 in the coaches poll after earning wins over Boston College and Notre Dame last week.

The top 3 is the same in both polls with Villanova No. 1, followed by Virginia and Purdue.

The rest of the top 10 in the AP poll includes Oklahoma at No. 4, followed by Duke, West Virginia, Wichita State, Texas Tech, Michigan State and Kansas.

The coaches poll has Wichita State at No. 4, with Duke, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Michigan State and Kansas rounding out the top 10.
