Clemson lands commitment from nation’s top safety
Clemson landed a commitment from the nation’s top safety on Saturday as RJ Mickens announced on Twitter that he has committed to the Tigers.
Mickens, who is from Southlake, Texas, is rated as a four-star prospect and the No. 42 overall player in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Mickens is Clemson’s highest-rated player out of its 10 commits for the class of 2020.
The Tigers are having a big recruiting weekend as several of the top players in the country are at Death Valley for the spring game, including the nation’s top quarterback – DJ Uiagalelei.
