Clemson’s top five recruiting class just continues to get better.
The Tigers landed a commitment from five-star running back Demarkcus Bowman on Friday. Bowman announced his decision on Twitter with a commitment video.
The Lakeland, Florida native chose the Tigers over Florida. He also holds offers from Georgia, Alabama and several other schools.
With the addition of Bowman, Clemson once again has the top rated recruiting class in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. The Tigers are No. 1, with LSU No. 2 and Alabama third.
Bowman is rated as the top player from the state of Florida and the No. 2 running back in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
The No. 2 player from the state of Florida, cornerback Fred Davis, has already committed to the Tigers.
Clemson could add another five-star prospect to its commitment list over the weekend as the nation’s top quarterback, DJ Uiagalelei, is set to announce his decision between Clemson and Oregon on Sunday.
