Clemson’s John Simpson, K’Von Wallace picked in fourth round of NFL Draft

Clemson had two more players taken in the 2020 NFL Draft early Saturday afternoon as John Simpson and K’Von Wallace both heard their names called in the fourth round.

Simpson, an offensive lineman, was picked by the Las Vegas Raiders with the No. 109 overall pick. Wallace, a versatile safety, went No. 127 overall to the Eagles.

Simpson and Wallace both arrived at Clemson in 2016 and immediately helped the Tigers to a national championship.

For their careers, Simpson and Wallace reached the College Football Playoff all four years, winning two national championships.

Simpson started for Clemson in 2018 and 2019, earning All-American honors as a senior this past season.

Wallace was also a two-year starter for the Tigers. He was named honorable mention All-ACC in 2018 and was a third-team All-ACC selection this past year. Wallace had 81 tackles, 10 pass breakups and a pair of interceptions his senior year.
