Clemson announced that wide receivers Frank Ladson Jr., Joseph Ngata and E.J. Williams as well as linebacker Jake Venables will all be unavailable for Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. game against No. 23 Pitt at Heinz Field.

Additionally, when the Tigers came out for warmups, defensive lineman Justin Foster was in sweats and will be out for the game. The reason was not immediately known.

Ladson (groin), Ngata (COVID-19 protocol) Williams (knee) and Venables (undisclosed) are out and did not make the trip.

Clemson also announced that running back Michel Dukes, who announced plans to transfer this week, was not available for the game.

The Tigers did get back freshman running back Will Shipley (shin) and defensive tackle Tyler Davis (bicep). Both made the trip to Pennsylvania and warmed up with the team before the game. Before his exit, Shipley was Clemson’s leading rusher and had scored five touchdowns in four games played. Davis totaled eight tackles in two games before suffering a bicep injury that required surgery.
