Move that bus! Clemson OL target Parker Boudreaux commits to Notre Dame
Offensive lineman Parker Boudreaux of Orlando, Fla., who claimed more than 70 offers and who has more than 25,000 Twitter followers, announced a commitment Thursday to Notre Dame. Well, announcing might be an understatement.
Working with the Bleacher Report, Boudreaux revealed his decision via an online video of him pulling a school bus forward revealing the Notre Dame helmet and the Fighting Irish emblem on the street. The act was set to the rhythmic tunes of Zardonic’s “Bring It On.”
Boudreaux had narrowed his list to Notre Dame, Clemson, Florida, Oklahoma and Georgia Southern. At one point it appeared Clemson was the team to beat after he visited last September and in March. But the move toward Notre Dame picked up steam during and after a visit there last month.
Boudreaux’s commitment is the first of three in three days affecting either Clemson or USC.
On Friday receiver Brad Hawkins Jr. of Camden, N.J., is to announce with USC and Michigan his top two. And on Saturday linebacker Kash Daniel of Paintsville, Ky., will announce for USC, Kentucky or Louisville.
