Where Clemson basketball stands in NCAA bracketology on Selection Sunday
Clemson basketball has spent weeks defending its résumé and insisting that, yes, it’s an NCAA tournament team.
Does the selection committee agree?
The Tigers finally get an answer to that question Sunday during the NCAA men’s tournament selection show (6 p.m., CBS).
Clemson will hope that its record-setting season in ACC play, No. 60 NET ranking and four Quadrant 1 wins (with three coming on the road or at neutral sites) will offset a poor non-conference schedule and some unsightly Quad 3 and 4 losses, including to South Carolina, Loyola Chicago and Louisville.
With Sunday’s slate of conference championships unexpected to shake up much on the bubble, here’s where Clemson stands and is predicted to fall.
