Wichita defensive end moves school decision up to Friday
Defensive end Xavier Kelly of Wichita had planned to wait until the US Army All American Game in January before making his college decision. That's out the window now. Kelly announced on his Twitter page Wednesday that he's ready to reveal his choice and he will do so Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM.
Kelly has been working with a final eight of Clemson, Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Michigan, Kansas State, Oregon and TCU. He visited all of the schools over the spring and summer with Clemson and Georgia getting the last visits last weekend. That was his second visit to Clemson and he has raved about the school and program after each of his visits.
Kelly lives in Wichita but his father lives in Savannah and he has spent most of the summer there.
