Clemson football has its first spring portal entry, per a report.

Tigers redshirt freshman cornerback Tavoy Feagin intends to enter the transfer portal when it opens April 16, per a report from On3 Sports on Monday.

Rivals.com also confirmed that Feagin intends to transfer, with Feagin telling the website: “I just want to thank the Clemson staff and the fans for supporting me.”

Feagin played 11 defensive snaps across two games last season while redshirting and will have four years of eligibility remaining at his next school.

He did not appear or record any stats during Clemson’s annual spring game on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. Postgame, coach Dabo Swinney was asked about why Feagin didn’t play in the spring game.

“He just wasn’t out there,” Swinney said.

Feagin was a member of Clemson’s 2024 recruiting class. He ranked as a four-star composite recruit, the No. 25 cornerback and No. 275 overall recruit coming out of Carrollwood Day in Tampa, Fla.

Clemson previously had five scholarship players transfer out during the winter portal window. The NCAA’s spring portal window for football runs April 16-25.
