Kickoff time, TV channel set for Clemson football’s home game vs. Syracuse
Clemson football has its first new kick time of the season.
The Tigers’ Sept. 20 home game vs. Syracuse will kick off at noon, the ACC announced. ABC or ESPN will broadcast the game from Memorial Stadium.
The channel will be designated after Saturday’s games. The other game in contention for the noon ABC slot next week (vs. the ESPN slot) is SMU at TCU.
This is No. 12 Clemson’s first “new” kickoff time designation of the season. The Tigers received kickoff times for their first three games of the 2025 season (as well as their season finale at South Carolina) over the summer.
Starting in Week 3, the ACC announces kickoff times and TV channels for the following week’s games on Mondays after selections are made by TV partners.
TV partners will sometimes exercise a six-day “flex window” on kickoff times, allowing them to see how that Saturday’s games play out before finalizing times and/or channels for the following week’s games.
Clemson (1-1) and coach Dabo Swinney play their ACC and road opener at Georgia Tech on Saturday and are a four-point betting favorite. Syracuse (1-1) and coach Fran Brown host FCS Colgate on Saturday.
The Tigers are 10-2 all-time against Syracuse and have won six straight meetings.
