Former Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd has been released by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Boyd was released on Tuesday in order for the Steelers to make room for undrafted rookie wide receiver Jarrod West.
Boyd, a native of Hampton, Va., signed a reserve/future contract with the Steelers on March 6, 2015 after being released by the N.Y. Jets on Aug. 30, 2014.
