Former Lake Marion standout has Clemson visit scheduled
De'Riante Jenkins (6-foot-6,) the former Lake Marion standout who will play this season at Hargrave Prep, Va. has three of his official visits scheduled and is still working on the other two.
Jenkins has penciled in VCU for Sept. 3, Tennessee Sept.11 and Clemson Oct. 3.
Jenkins has made multiple unofficial visits to Clemson over the past couple of years. Jenkins is planning to take all five of his officials and is still working thru the rest of his list to decide who gets the final two visits.
"I'm not sure," Jenkins said. "I'm still in contact with four schools and they all really want a visit, so I want to see who I feel more comfortable with."
Jenkins said the remaining schools under consideration are USC, Rutgers, Georgia Tech and LSU. He made an unofficial visit to USC earlier this summer.
As for contact with the Clemson Tigers and USC, Jenkins said there is plenty.
“I talk to them often."
Jenkins said he does not have a leader among his schools at this point. He has said he could sign in November if he gets in all of his official visits.
