Clemson got a big road win over Louisville this past week, holding off the Cardinals for a 20-17 victory. Shortly after the game ended, video emerged of Tigers coach Dabo Swinney dancing in the locker room and celebrating with his team.
The video was posted on the internet and was shown on ESPN.
This isn’t the first time video has surfaced of Swinney showing off his dance moves. He told The State this week that he enjoys celebrating with his team but wishes the camera wouldn’t immediately go to him. Swinney is hopeful the cameras will focus on his players instead.
“It’s not just me, we all celebrate together and for some reason the camera follows me,” he said. “I’m not a very good dancer so they don’t need to be following me, but I try hard.”
Clemson didn’t play its best against Louisville, struggling on offense to find a consistent rhythm. But Swinney said he was excited to escape with a win.
“We always say the fun is in the winning, and when we win we try to celebrate it and worry about fixing the problems later,” he said.
They have an open date this week to get the problems fixed before facing Notre Dame at 8 p.m. on Oct. 3.
