Clemson claims No. 1 spot in CBS ranking

The undefeated Clemson Tigers football team is No. 1 in one national ranking.

The Tigers jumped from No. 5 to the top spot in the weekly CBS Sports 128 rankings released Monday, leaping Ohio State, Baylor and LSU.

Clemson (7-0) held steady at No. 6 in the USA Today Coaches Poll but rose three spots to No. 3 in the Associated Press Top 25 after Saturday’s 58-0 win over Miami.

The Tigers are currently projected in the College Football Playoff by CBS and ESPN.

Clemson travels to NC State this Saturday before hosting Florida State next week.
