Clemson football adding retro touches with uniform changes

Dabo Swinney is establishing a new tradition at Clemson, in some ways harkening back to the program’s glory days as a national power.

This might be a new era, but these Tigers will give a little tip of the hat to those teams of yesteryear with a new set of uniforms.

The school’s athletic department tweeted a video Tuesday morning debuting some throwback uniform tweaks and other changes. Small things such as a Tiger paw atop the shoulder, an extra number or patch debuted as part of the Nike Mach Speed pace uniforms.
