His other offers include Cincinnati, Illinois, Auburn, Kansas State, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Tennessee, UAB and Virginia Tech.

Gray said he was excited about getting the offer from Clemson.

"They called my mom and my AAU coach saying they love my game and really enjoy watching me play, then they offered," Gray said. "And I like Clemson. They are ACC and play big time competition."

Gray has several big time offers to consider and said Clemson certainly becomes a factor by offering him.'

"It does a lot, wakes up a lot of people, because Clemson has such a good program," he said.

Gray said he doesn't yet have plans for a Clemson visit. Last season he averaged 16 points, 12 rebounds and five assists per game.
