Good news, bad news on Clemson football tickets
Here’s the good news-bad news concerning Clemson football tickets:
The good
Clemson University has sold all available football season tickets for the upcoming 2016 season, with 57,059 tickets sold.
The bad
Clemson’s Athletic Ticket Office is no longer taking orders for full seven-game packages.
More good
The athletic department will make available a non-renewable, six-game package in mid-July. That package will include all home games except the South Carolina game. Any available single-game tickets will go on sale in late July.
Even more good
Meanwhile, Clemson students were informed last week that they won’t be required to pony up a $225 fee to secure one of the 9,000 lower-bowl seats for football at Memorial Stadium.
But more bad
On Thursday, the university’s Board of Trustees approved tuition and fee increases for the 2016-17 academic year, with a $218 increase (3.14 percent) per semester for in-state undergraduate students and $700 (4.27 percent) per semester for out-of-state undergraduates.
