Receiver AJ Terrell recaps Clemson cookout visit
One of the top uncommitted prospects at Clemson’s All-In Cookout Friday night was defensive back AJ Terrell of Atlanta.
The standout cornerback has a short list of Clemson, Auburn, Florida and Alabama. He’s no longer considering South Carolina.
Terrell said the cookout, which was held off campus at a spot near one of the lakes, was very relaxing and provided some very good one-on-one time with the coaches.
“It was good,” Terrell said. “I tried to talk to a whole bunch of coaches and meet new recruits and all that stuff. After the cookout I got to talk to Coach Swinney and all them and we just talked about the program, the family, the people and how to decide on what school I need to go to and take my time. And he told me what I need to look into like graduation rates and all that stuff.”
Terrell said he’s not rushing his decision and has no deadline for making one. He does not have a favorite at this point but said Clemson is “real high” on his list. He’s not sure if he’ll take official visits this fall.
Terrell said he “most likely” will visit Auburn Monday.
