USC quarterback Brendan Nosovitch will transfer
Quarterback Brendan Nosovitch has been released from his scholarship at South Carolina and will transfer.
Nosovitch is a junior from Allentown, Pa., where he was a Parade All-American in his senior season.
He entered spring practice listed as fourth on the USC depth chart, behind Connor Mitch, Perry Orth and Michael Scarnecchia.
He played tight end this past season, but had moved back to quarterback during the spring.
Nosovitch completed both of his pass attempts during the 2013 season, and he rushed for a touchdown during the 2013 season.
He had considered transferring this past August, but decided to stay for another season.
