The Clemson and South Carolina baseball teams are both ranked in Collegiate Baseball’s preseason poll, which was released Tuesday afternoon.

The Tigers are ranked No. 15 with 460 points, while the Gamecocks are No. 19 with 450 points.

Florida, the defending national champion, is ranked No. 1 in the preseason poll, followed by Oregon State, Arkansas, Florida State and Texas Tech.

South Carolina opens the season Feb. 16 when it hosts VMI at Founders Park. The Tigers will begin play Feb. 16 when they host William & Mary at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

USC and Clemson will meet for a three-game series from March 2-4. Game 1 is slated to take place in Columbia, with Game 2 in Greenville and Game 3 in Clemson.
