The NCAA baseball tournament selection show is noon Monday on ESPN2, with two college teams from the state of South Carolina projected in the field by the major national publications. Those NCAA games begin later this week.

Wofford (42-14-1) is projected by D1Baseball as the No. 3 seed in the East Carolina-hosted Greenville (N.C.) Regional. Baseball America has the Terriers (30 RPI) as the 2 seed in the Blacksburg (Va.) Regional hosted by Virginia Tech.

Coastal Carolina (36-18-1) is projected by D1Baseball as the No. 3 seed at the UNC-hosted Chapel Hill Regional. Baseball America projects CCU (31 RPI) as the 3 seed in the Greenville Regional.

Clemson (35-23) is not projected to make the field by either national outlet, and Baseball America has the Tigers among the “first four out.” Clemson lost both its ACC tournament games this past week. The Tigers (34 RPI) went 13-16 in ACC play this year in the regular season.

College of Charleston (37-19) was previously projected to make the NCAAs but was not listed among the latest predictions for the field of 64 after the Cougars (67 RPI) went 1-2 in their conference tournament.

The season is over for the South Carolina Gamecocks (27-28).

North Greenville (50-10) won its super regional to advance to the Division II baseball championship tournament that begins next weekend in Cary, North Carolina.
