South Carolina vs. Clemson game time announcement pushed back
When the 2016 edition of South Carolina and Clemson’s football rivalry is played still remains up in the air.
The Gamecocks-Tigers game time announcement was held for a six-day selection. That means it won’t be announced until after the games Saturday and announced no later than noon on Sunday, Nov. 20.
South Carolina (5-5, 3-5 SEC) faces FCS Western Carolina on Saturday, with a chance to clinch a bowl spot in coach Will Muschamp’s first season. Clemson (9-1, 6-1 ACC) will play Wake Forest with a chance to secure the ACC Atlantic Division title and a spot in the conference title game.
The game could have extra meaning because of Clemson’s upset loss to Pitt last weekend. The Tigers should still control their own fate in the playoff race, but a loss to South Carolina would muddy those waters considerably.
Clemson leads the all-time series 67–42–4 and has won the past two meetings. The Gamecocks won the previous five before that.
Other games held for six-day selection

Duke at Miami
Florida at Florida State
Kentucky at Louisville
