SOUTH CAROLINA-CLEMSON 2015-16

CLEMSON 1, SOUTH CAROLINA 0

Clemson drew first blood in the all-sports season rivalry with South Carolina on Friday when the Tigers’ women’s soccer team beat the Gamecocks 2-1.

USC struck first when Savannah McCaskill scored in the 10th minute, but Clemson quickly evened it when Shannon Horgan headed the ball into the Gamecocks’ goal. Two minutes later, Catrina Atanda scored the game-winner. The Gamecocks out-shot the Tigers but never found the net in the second half.
