South Carolina took the lead in the all-sports season rivalry with Clemson on Wednesday when the Gamecocks’ women’s basketball team demolished the Tigers, 67-41.

Despite the game being played in 2,000-seat Jervey Gym and Clemson allowing admission only with a pre-purchased ticket voucher, several hundred Gamecocks attended.
