Gamecocks, IMG sign new deal with 107.5 The Game
The University of South Carolina and IMG announced a multi-year agreement with Cumulus Media, extending the status of 107.5 The Game (WNKT-FM) as “The official flagship station for the Gamecock IMG Sports Network.”
Under the agreement, 107.5 FM will provide radio coverage of Gamecocks football, baseball, and men’s and women’s basketball. In addition to pregame, play-by-play and postgame coverage of Gamecocks’ sporting events, 107.5 FM will broadcast “Inside the Roost,” produced and distributed by IMG. The show will feature members of USC’s athletics department, including student-athletes and coaches and airs Monday nights.
“We consider it an honor and a privilege to continue to be the flagship station for Gamecock sports,” Rick Prusator, vice president/market manager, Cumulus Media-Columbia, SC, said in a release.
It is the company’s 16th year with USC football.
“We are pleased that 107.5 The Game will continue as the ‘Home of the Gamecocks’ in the Midlands,” USC athletics director Ray Tanner said in a release. “From our national championships to bowl games to record-breaking performances, 107.5 The Game has been with us every step of the way.”
