VIDEO: Gamecocks soccer scissor kick goal earns ESPN accolade
South Carolina men’s soccer senior Jeff Torda can add SportsCenter Top 10 fame to his resumé.
Torda, a senior from Colleyville, Texas, scored the No. 2 spot on ESPN’s nightly best plays list Monday night with a scissor kick goal.
USC (2-0) won the match over Georgia Southern 4-2 on Monday evening at Stone Stadium.
Torda started all 20 matches and scored three goals last season. He had three shots Monday, two coming on goal. Watch the goal here:
