Video: Kentucky's Jojo Kemp on his learning process

After practice on Tuesday, Kentucky running back Jojo Kemp talked to the media for the first time since he earned the ire of head coach Mark Stoops after he said of his Florida friends that he wanted to be “rubbing in their faces” a hoped-for UK upset of the Gators in Gainesville.

Florida ended up winning 36-30 in three overtimes as Kemp carried eight times for 23 yards.

Last Saturday against Vanderbilt, Kemp got just one first-half carry as Braylon Heard has taken over as the team’s No. 1 running back. Offensive coordinator Neal Brown said that Kemp needs to improve his practice habits, but showed a good attitude and performed when called upon to do so.

Indeed, on UK’s final series of the win over the Commodores, Kemp ran the ball seven straight times out of the Wildcat formation for 60 yards as the home team ran out the clock.
