SEC coaching hires: What other teams did and when
The breakdown
Of the 13 other SEC coaches, nine were head coaches at their prior jobs. Two were offensive coordinators and two were defensive coordinators.
Of the 13 hires, two were made in late November, seven by mid-December, one on Dec. 26 and the other three in January. USC AD Ray Tanner says he hopes to have a new coach in place by early December.
