Mark Kingston picked up a transfer from South Carolina’s rival school Monday.

Sophomore outfielder and first baseman Dylan Brewer announced on Twitter that he’ll be transferring from Clemson to South Carolina.

Brewer started in 39 of the 46 games he played for the Tigers this season and batted .208 with four home runs and 24 RBIs. He had one at-bat over Clemson’s final nine games.

He entered the transfer portal shortly after Clemson’s head coach Monte Lee was fired last week.

Brewer is a Latta, South Carolina native and was drafted in the 32nd round of the MLB draft by the San Francisco Giants in high school.
