New start time set for South Carolina vs. Clemson series opener
Fans will have to wait just a bit longer for the South Carolina vs. Clemson annual rivalry baseball series.
The series opener entered a weather delay on Friday night. First pitch was originally set for 7 p.m. A new start time of 8:45 p.m. was announced at 7:35 p.m.
South Carolina-Clemson baseball weather update
The grounds crew began removing the tarp from the field at 7:35 p.m. Shortly after, USC announced a new start time of 8:45 p.m.
USC baseball’s X account posted the weather was still being monitored as of 6:56 p.m. A new start time was not shared in the post. The account shared at 7:26 p.m. that there was still no updated start time.
Friday’s series opener entered a weather delay at 6:30 p.m. A new start time was not shared with the delay announcement. An updated start time will be shared when one is known, per the USC baseball X account.
2026 Clemson-South Carolina baseball series schedule
- Game 1: Friday, TBD at Founders Park in Columbia (SEC Network Plus, broadcasters Kip Bouknight, Grayson Greiner and Dave Weinstein)
- Game 2: Saturday, 3 p.m. at Segra Park in Columbia (ACC Network Extra, broadcasters Bob Mahony and William Qualkinbush)
- Game 3: Sunday, 3 p.m. at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson (ACC Network Extra, broadcasters Don Munson and Ron Smith)
Each school will also offer an in-house radio broadcast for each game. Clemson’s radio broadcast will be available on 105.5 FM locally (see affiliate list here), and South Carolina’s broadcast is available locally on 107.5 FM (see affiliate list here).
