Former USC star pitcher engaged
Ex-South Carolina pitcher Michael Roth had a little fun Saturday afternoon couching his own big news in a tweet about a couple teams he roots for losing. To be sure, he’ll take the personal win.
Roth posted the news he’s engaged along with a photo of himself and his fiancee, ring safely on finger. Roth was a 2011 All-American with the Gamecocks and a member of two College World Series title winners.
Roth won 26 games and threw more than 354 innings for USC. He was drafted by Anaheim, played in 22 Major League games across 2013 and 2014 and is now in Cleveland’s minor league system.
