USC baseball season ticket sales down slightly for 2016

South Carolina’s season ticket numbers are down slightly from last season but are still the fourth-highest since Founders Park opened in 2009.

The Gamecocks sold approximately 5,700 season tickets this year after 6,049 were sold last year. USC sold 5,957 in 2014.

Carolina sold 4,745 season tickets the first year Founders Park opened in 2009, and after dropping to 4,585 in 2010, the number had gone up every year prior to 2016.

The Gamecocks are averaging 7,239 fans through the first eight games of the season.
