SERIES NOTES

▪  South Carolina had not lost the overall season series to Clemson since 2006 before the Tigers won two out of three games last year. Clemson won the regular season series in 2010 but USC defeated Clemson twice at the College World Series.

▪  This marks the sixth consecutive year that the teams will meet in a three-game series with each team getting a home game in addition to a neutral site game. Prior to 2010 the teams played four times a year.
