South Carolina vs. Texas A&M game time set

South Carolina will open a five-game homestand with an afternoon contest in against Texas A&M at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Gamecocks-Aggies game will kick off in Columbia at 4 p.m. on Oct. 1, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.

South Carolina will kick off this coming Saturday at 7:30 p.m. against Kentucky, the Gamecocks’ third night game in its first four games. USC (2-1) is coming off a 20-15 win against East Carolina.

The Gamecocks and Aggies have only faced off twice, the 52-28 USC loss that opened 2014 and a 35-28 Aggies win a season ago.

Texas A&M faces Arkansas in a late night game this week. The Aggies are 3-0 and ranked in the top-10 after holding off Auburn in a battle of coaches on the hot seat.
